MoviFind works without registration. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
Your movie history stays on this device
Your verdicts, favourites, watch list, filters and settings are stored in your browser (IndexedDB and local storage) on this device only.
Nothing is synced
There is no MoviFind account database. If you clear your browser data, switch device or uninstall the app, your history is lost unless you exported a backup file first.
Movie information
Film details, posters, ratings and trailers come from The Movie Database (TMDB). Your history and taste profile are never sent to TMDB.
What external services receive
Like any website, requests to TMDB and its image servers include your IP address and the search terms or filter values needed to answer the request. MoviFind does not attach an identifier to them.
Trailers
Trailers play through YouTube privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may still set cookies or store data once you press play.
Streaming availability
Where-to-watch data is provided by JustWatch through TMDB and reflects the region you choose in Settings.
Exporting and deleting your data
Settings lets you export everything to a JSON file, import a backup, or clear all data on this device. Clearing cannot be undone.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
